Downtown Seattle Neighborhood, Seattle, WA

Seattle's downtown area has traditionally been a business and retail destination. Aside from the Pike Place Market, Belltown and Pioneer Square areas, few people considered downtown living.

Since 2005, a condo boom has swept through the Emerald City with approximately 30 new mid-to-high rise developments under construction or planned in the city core. The most recently completed project is 5th & Madison in the financial district. Currently under construction are 1521, 1 Hotel & Residences, Residences at the Four Seasons, Escala and Olive8. All of these projects are catering to the upscale market and are introducing the hotel/condo concept to Seattle.
